There is a legend in the region of a boosted RX-8. There has been whispers of when it may make it apperance. Many have speculated of when it shall unvail it self to the local public. And many times people where certian it would show, but time after time it did not reveal itself. Then finally when hope was fading of its existance and people were certian it would not be revealed, the mystical beast showed. And damn is it nice. I was one of the select few who actually got to ride in the car this fateful evening.

And i can say only three things 1) damn was it amazing, words can not decribe the feeling of the car, 2) People see what happens when you skip out on a meet. And to those of you who were not there 3) HAHAHAHA

HS is the man and his car goes like stink. Thanks for the ride in that Turbo'd 8. I am still giggly at the prospect of getting one myself. Some good looking 8's out there tonight. We had a good time talking to the other rotor heads and drinking a few brews.

 

I had a really good time and it was really great to meet the other owners... but now it is time to return to my fortress of solitude

 

Oh no you don't BigOLundh -- you need to bring that beast out again sometime soon so the rest of us who couldn't make it out, for one reason or another, can revel in the greatness of the RX8 turbo. Show that bad boy off!!! :D

 

Was definately nice to finally see BigOLundh bring out the turbo'ed 8; too bad I had to leave would of loved to see how it performed.

 

Boost controller and tuning are coming in 2 or 3 weeks... then it will be a whole new monster. It is already insanely fast right now... even with 3 people in the car

I was across the street from BJ's last night at Stadium Cafe. I tagged some cars, but that goes in a different thread.

 

I'm posting this because it should be time for our regularly scheduled meeting and people will probably ask me if I'm going to post this.

Oh that reminds me. I will be there with the new boost controller, and the car is finally tuned. Last dyno was showing close to 275 at the wheels w/ just 7 psi. I will also be giving out rides through the addison tunnell as well as free ice cream.
