SA Town


I live near S.WW White and Southcross by Brooks AFB.
I bought my 8 in SA around Nov. and drove it to North Carolina were I am stationed. I am US Marine currently in Haiti. I will be back in SA in the beginning of Aug. for good. Taken my car down Military Dr. and Commerce. Looking to join a club when I get back.



66 days til I am out of the Marine Corps


Also: My cousin is the head Mazda tech. in SA. When the 8 came in he had to go two month class on it. So if you need something when I get back. holla!!

 

Well, our furniture and stuff was finally delivered on Friday. We're still unpacking a few rooms (haven't found bedroom linen yet!), but we're starting to get settled in. Hopefully by next month I'll have more time to socialize. :D

I saw a Blue RX8 @ North Star mall earlier this week w/ an exhaust I hadn't seen before (it was more of a rectangle than a circle). I tried to leave my business card w/ info about this forum as well as the Alamo RX Club, but the security guard removed it (long story... I'll be contacting mall management about that one). I've also seen a green 8 quite a few times up here on my side of town (NE) w/ the license plate hld fst. Are either of you on here???

 

I saw a sunlight silver tonight at Salsalito's on Bandera and 1604 - anyone from this forum? Awesome food, that place. :D

Hey b-nez i live right about 2 min from you up tezel. in northwest crossings. we (my car club) used to go the car was across the street from you every sunday night before going to military. havent gone in a while cuz both clutches in the evo's are gone and dont really like to go by my self but ill keep an eye out for you red 8.

I just got my Silver AT/GT this weekend (6/6) from World Car. I'm out in Boerne, work 1604/I-10. Commute's a LOT more fun!! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys! I haven't seen any RX-8s in SA yet, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Welcome!!! I got mine @ WC too (in NB). I don't see all that many either (other than the 1 in the parking lot that one of my co-workers has).

I saw a silver w/ no appereance package rx8 outside ingram mall on friday. a real dirty one .

I know that down my street like 7 blocks some one has a blue like mine w/ no appereance package and dark tints.

 

I saw a titanium at Ingram Mall on Friday - parked along a berm near JC Penney, I think. My vRed was parked at the end of the row and was absolutely FILTHY!

I've been seeing alot of 8's in my area. I'm off of Guilbeau between Bandera and Tezel. My wife's uncle lives down the street and he has a Silver 8. Mine is Velocity Red. GT Package. So who am I seeing?

 

I bought an Alvarez that sounds BEAUTIFUL! I bought/stole (GREAT price!!!) it from Hermes on San Pedro.
I'm not sure about the body shop thing. I've heard Jack's Paint Place in Converse is really good.
