Changed my mind

I did have MoCL upgrade me to the newest flash today M I guess. They gave me no problems, and the work was done quickly. I also talked to the tech's a little today and got a better impression. So I am changing my opinion of them.

the problem with letting dealerships change your oil is that they usually have some new nut there doing it who doesnt have too much knowledge about anything mechanically...the oil change guy is usually some young kid who doesnt care about the cars he is working on...

how do i know...because i have had some of those nutheads let a car go with absolutely no oil in them! so be sure to get the to show u where the oil level is at before you leave!

You guys are absurd... Mazda of Clear Lake uses Castrol 5w20.... What makes you think the Mazda reps would allow them to use... a synthetic 10w30 on the rx8? The only cars they use the syn 10w30 is the cx7, the speed 3, and speed6...

If you are going to comment about something at least know your facts...

I don't know rotary engine but how different is it in changing the oil to a traditional engine? I'd say do it yourself but there's probably a catch to it.

Back to Clear Lake Mazda......

8 owners in this thread recommend going to Jeff Haas whether if it's across the street or 50 miles....they'll drive across town for great service (something i would do)

There's always 2 side to a story but Clear Lake Mazda is just terrible period!
GL w/ your issues OP.....

Stogey, I do the oil changes myself. It's no different. I've read some people have trouble reaching the oil filter.

If a lot of owners don't know how to do a oil change, then maybe we should have a meet for this?
