I'm not sure how the car still being in the body shop precludes you from coming considering you have the jeep. Its not like an 8 is a requirement to show up at a meet... and if the car is still in the shop its not like you are going to be busy getting her ready...

As soon as I got the "thread updated" e-mail, I STOMPED on the gas (in my Ford Focus rental car) to get to work and reply...
1 - car was in the shop at the time of the post and is still there currently.... supposed to get it back Friday, but looks like it will be today or tomorrow, leaving me only a couple hours of daylight for the next 3 days after work to get all the work done... you assumed I wasn't coming because I don't have the car. I'm not coming because I'm getting the car back later than expected and will be too busy working on it to stop and go have a meeting about a meeting.
2 - the Jeep is not legal, therefore it is basically useless until the title war is over with the state. It cannot be driven.

Although I have given perfectly legitimate reasons, I'm sure you'll have something else to say, let's hear it... by the way, this is all in good joking fun, don't get all "butt-hurt"

Not sure why there would be a reason to get butt hurt because of this, I was asking a simple question of why you couldnt come. I wasnt assuming anything.

OH, and the car is out of the shop. Fender dent fixed... entire trunk lid shaved and repainted... it looks AWESOME.
