I didn't want to be the hi-jacker today and I'm really not in the mood to be flamed, but a lot of people are asking what happened last night.
I was driving home last night and had a lot of things on my mind. I was coming to an intersection when I noticed Coop was in front of me slowing down to turn right. It was too late for me to stop so I took the curb to the right. I went through the grass, hit some kind of meter, tried to stop, and didn't make it. I hit the intersection as Coop was turning right and hit his front fender.
As far as damage goes, mine is worse than I thought it was last night. I'll have pics later. My front end is messed up, driver fender is messed up, 2 wheels are beat pretty bad, I have a scrape down the passenger side of my car, and my passenger rear wheel is cocked in. It's not straight like the other one. Anyway, I've filed with insurance and am waiting to hear back.

Yeah, I know. I've had my car for a year and been without it for 4 months already. Now I'm expecting at least 2 more. Can anyone see if Martin wants another project?

I am sure he will take it, he is a pro now :D
Guess you pulled a dazy and now you can do some mods....you were talking about something like this tuesday, this was planned huh.
All I got to say is, I hope I'm not next!

Here she is...
The last pic shows the scrape down the passenger side. The lighting is bad, so the pictures just doesn't do it justice. The second one you can see my rear wheel is cocked a little. Don't know what that is. And the first one you can see the main damage. Once again the lighting sucks.

Yeah, it cracked the headlight too. My fender well is gone, and I don't want to drive it because of the rear passenger wheel.
Really it's not my car I'm worried about. I just feel bad about Coop's car. How's it looking? Anything we didn't notice last night?

I don't know what all may be underneath but I think we pretty much saw what it was last night... It hurt more this morning when I turned the garage flourescents on. I didn't even look last night in the light when I got home... Thanks for the concern, but I feel bad for yours since it's so much worse.

Ugh. that sucks for both of you. Hope you're fixed up soon.
As long as the wheels are still in the round, most cosmetic stuff can be handled by wheels America-They do an awesome job for a reasonable price.

I talked to them yesterday, but all they said was someone should call me tomorrow. I'll give my statement and hopefully get things rolling. I guess I'll just hope for the best.

Didn't you just get "newer" tires on the rear?

Not yet. I'm waiting until I give my statement tomorrow and see which direction this is going to go. If anyone knows him personally, could you put in a word that I may be getting in touch with him?
Just curious, anyone know how easy it would be to repair the front bumper? It doesn't seem like it is very repairable. I'm just trying to see if it's going to be replaced or repaired.

yeah and he got some good passenger side practice on mine.
sorry to hear about what happened. i'm sure martin we'll be happy to help out. if you get a new bumper though i would not go with the replica MS bumper. that thing was hard to work with. i'll also swing by and talk to him tomorrow after i get off work. see what his work load is like and see what he can do for you.
glad that both of yall are ok.
