Might be in. At least for part of it, depending on when my soccer game is. Pity we're not doing BJ's in Lewisville (soccer is closer to that one).

Alright, so I now know the game time (it's SATURDAY!), so I should be good, but just have to make sure that Linds didn't come up with other plans for us already, lol.

Anyone up for going to BJ's in Lewisville instead? hehe. I might even bring the shirt design with me.

Ignore deadphoenix52 :P

As to the purpose of this meet and any other meets the DFW crew has, its to hang out and enjoy each others company. We arent like the other Mazda or car groups around, we aren't "rice" and we aren't big show boats. We are honestly friends with each other and like our company. You are more than welcome to join us if you like.

the above post is so unbelievably riddled with grammatical errors.

but hes right.

we arent really a car club, but just good friends who happen to drive the same car.

Meh, I've always personally prefered the real thing over the fake thing.

I wish they had a signature dish on the menu called a BJ. That way you could order one... the waiter/waitress would also be require to say "How's your BJ?" midway through the meal.

Maybe he's using it out of context? Or another definition of the word?

He keeps using that word. I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

Well given that you're disputing how I am using the word friend and not what I said around it I offer this rebutal:

Define the term friend:

Friend -

1. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
2. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement

Based on the attendance of this group it can be argued that we are Friends in that we all support each other's interest in the RX8 and also share other common interests as well. It's also a given that it is highly unlikely that anyone that did not enjoy or value the comradery of this particular group that they would continue attendance or communication.

Counter Argument to my own arguments

1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.

While the above may be true it could also be said that not everyone likes or trusts everyone equally in the group. That of course can be expected given the complexity of friendship and the ever increasing amount of people you add to a group. Obviously the cut off is different depending on the person.

I personally will count this group of people among my "friends".
