Depends on the time, but I will likely be out. I've got a soccer game at 2:15.

I actually got my first job offer from Schlumberger-definitely the most in-depth, coolest interview process EVER, hope you love it!!

And I'd love to make this but I really don't think I can! I blame Toyota.

But Scott, send me a text with a time and stuff once it's decided, ok? Cuz I never remember to check this!

And I have no preference on courses, it is all new to me now!

Not on these roads, and not with how little rain there has been of late. Rain = ice on small 2 lane country roads with no shoulders and not many bail options.

Didn't you say you drive a new mazda 6?...An rx8 handles a bit differently in the rain...lol

This goes back to the message you sent me and the advice I gave you...Know who you're drive with, the car they drive, how it handles, and their driving style.

Yes am fully aware of the different handling characteristics between a speed and Rx8. I have all-wheel-drive, you don't. Mine weighs over 3300lbs, yours just over 3100lbs. Mine understeers like a snow plow, yours oversteers like a sports car should. But let me ask you this. When it rains on race day do they cancel the race? No. They use different tires, change the way they drive, steer less with the right pedal and more with middle one, use more caution, and more importantly they know there car. The is Texas and bad weather is pretty bad here. But if you just hang up the keys at any sign of anything other than dry weather than what's the point in having the car. Every car has its weather detriments but it's how well you know your car and can drive according to the conditions.
Hey if you don't want to drive in the rain. Fine stay at home and office the road. More room for us how can actually enjoy the wet and not have to worry about scared drivers "daring" the conditions.

Just my opinion though. What I know I just drive a Mazda, like you, just trying to hang out with other Mazdas, like you.

Phil, I think given your newness here and the fact that you know none us, you shouldn't be acting all high and mighty. You've never driven with us and dont know our attitude or driving style and trying to call us out for not wanting to drive in the rain is childish.

Also, while I can't speak for everyone in this thread or this subforum, I know at least several others if not a majority of us have no interest in hanging out with other Mazda's. Posts like this are likely why.
