OK everybody...big misunderstanding with Marlon on the Montrose thing. It is this Sat and Sun...no Friday...and when he said 830 he meant 830 AM. The event is from 10AM - 4PM Sat and Sun. I can ONLY do Sat and am down for an all day affair. I know that many of you are not normally down for an all day affair but whatever we can get will be greatly appreciated.

Okay one event down, several more to go. Here is what is happening with the Montrose event.
Saturday June 13-10:00am-4:00PM
We need acouple of people to manage the corral parking, we need as many Mazda's we can get to come and represent the various clubs. I would advise beiong there no later that 9:30AM, in order to have it organized.
We will need a couple of sign handlers, you wil be wearing the driving suits that we have from Charles and Jeff, so let me know who is in. We will also need help with serving food and drink, possibly shuttling people from the Wal-mart parking lot to the dealership.
We may need help wioth registration as we expect a large number of non-Mazda owners showing up, as well as a lot of Mazda owners.
After the event, the volunteers will be invited to a after-party @ The Barley House in the warehouse district, we will be moving a couple of the Freedom Autosports cars into the valet are for display. This is a private party for the teams, volunteers and dealership employeees.
Sunday the start time is 12:00PM-5:00PM
So everything and everyone should be at the dealership by 11:30AM . If you want to volunteer for a certain position, PM and let me know.
Finally, there will be a VIP party on Wednesday June 17, 2009, we are expecting a number of teams from the Grand-Am series, officials, drivers, crew and volunteers.
Freedom Autosports is already here, Pirate Motorsports is expected, Maxwell Paper's RX-8 is scheduled and we are waiting to see if Michael Shank Racing will ne bringing there DP Ford Powered Cars to the event.
We are looking to host SpeedSource, Dempsey Racing or Racers Edge on Wednesday, June 17th event, John Doonan will let me know once he returns from Europe.
The Nonnamakers will be providing Subway Sandwiches, Pepsi will have a truck there and also there will be a Bud truck on hand. The public will be asked for a donation for charity, as a volunteer you will be fed and watered.
