Hey guys, I just sent them out today. You each should have a tracking number in your e-mail you provided in the order. Hopefully, it'll be smooth sailing for me from here on creating these suckers. Seems like there's one thing or another gone wrong because the resins kinda just sit there in my garage.

Just a quick question, when you open the door, as the door swings out does it not block the light from shining onto where you are going to step? Or is there enough light that the area still gets lit up?

 

I'd say if you did white, it would probably do a little bit. I have blue and to be honest, it doesn't light up the area you describe due to the reason you describe. Looks good as you walk up and hit your remote unlock though as they come on at that time.........and they door is obviously shut.

 

Ahh yes when walking up to it I forgot about that. To be honest I don't really care if they light up any puddles or not they look so darn cool I will probably be getting them soon.

 

could i get black led's somehow?

 

Check at Rx8 Strakes.com. They may sell them since they do for the interior.

 

you guys can get any bulbs you want, just go v-leds.com and pick out a set of 194's.

 

^..............Yepper, that's what I did. I wanted a little better match with all my other V-LED's, so I swapped the LED's in the puddle lights with the same blue I was already using from V-LED's.

@Mazurfer: I ship v-leds.com bulbs in my package.

@always.anthony: I don't personally have any black LED bulbs but you can fit any 194 bulb in the puddle lights. Mine ship with the choice of LED bulbs as stated in the first post.

hmmmm, i think you re read my first post. i was asking if price would be any different, maybe 5 dollars cheaper if i got shipped everything but bulbs, but we'll talk details more later. thanks for replying! good job with the puddle lights btw!

 

Yes, I know...........for some reason mine were a little purplish compared to what I had in other locations on the car. I had extra Vleds so I swapped them out, remember? No big deal.

 

I got the bulb for paddle light..
but how do i get paddle light KIT!...
