The only way my footwell lights would throw a CEL is if you cut the wrong wire while installing them.

I haven't heard of it happening from anyone.... so I wouldn't worry about it.

 

My lights make me want to wear white tennis shoes in my car all the time. Is this normal?

If it is, i'm thinking RR needs to post a warning in his instructions

Slightly off the topic here, but it does relate: Does anyone know of a specific 194 blue LED bulb that matches the color of RR's blue LEDs? I bought some "super blue" LEDs from V-LEDS for my doors and they are a lighter blue, which really clashes with the footwell lights. If I can't find a good match, I'll probably just go with a super white.

Any suggestions welcome!

These things are really awesome! It's funny when people get in my car at night, EVERYONE comments on them.

 

I would recommend them to anyone considering them. I got a set of blue for when the courtesy lamps are on and red for when the headlights are on. Looks great. I used to have neons on another car and these are way better. Much smaller and easier to mount.

Green leds are uber expensive, compared to red or blue.

I have enough to make one green set.
