Custom LED Footwell Lights!!!
it's a secret, I can't tell you. IF I did, I'd have to kill you.
Actually, I"m embarassed to say that they're a pair of AUTOLUMINATION bulbs. I bought a bunch last year, later realized how horrible the quality is so I just stuck them in my doors. They work GREAT there though, surprised they haven't burned out yet. ***knocks on wood***
They're 194 hi-flux bulbs.

I made the same mistake with those when I used them for my parking lights. Do they fade like the stock bulbs? I thought I read somewhere that some LEDs will not fade like the incandescent bulbs?
The hard wire kit I got for my radar detector had a splice you plugged a spade terminal into, with a matching spade on the power wire. I think I'll go find some of those, and tap both sets of wires, then switch between dome & running to see if I prefer one or the other or both.
They do still fade, just a bit quicker then incandescent bulbs.
I guess the autolumination bulbs just don't react well to heat or the elements. They work great in the doors though. (I've got vled bulbs in the garage in case I just jinxed myself)

The dome lights are on a negatively switched circuit. The running lights are on a positively switched circuit.
You'll have to move both the positive and negative wires to switch between the two.
LOL, glad you saw the message. Hmmm....I thought most people used the white. Oh well, still fun for those who can't see the msg.

I think I actually have some spare autolumination LEDs laying around that might be okay for the doors too. Just waiting for Rodger's footwell lights now!
