it is really hard to see actually it is just that '4yrs to supercharge' had his bumper off and light is coming through the back illuminating the stock grill piece

 

When it was silver it didn't show the plastic grille. I had to paint it so the transponders were more hidden. I should mention that I painted it gloss black with the plastic grille behind it so it actually accentuated the plastic grille .

If I didn't care about hiding the transponders for the Blinder M-20 I would have the silver grille.

 

I couldn't find any oil cooler screens on the website, so I e-mailed Kristina asking about them. She said it's "grill insert only". I know there are other companies who offer all three pieces.

 

see photo below....you cant see the original grille at all on mine....bought some screen from Home Depot and cut my own grille pieces for the oil-coolers....cost me about $5 for the roll.....got a lot left over in case I ever have to cut new ones...

 

shinka213, that looks awesome! How's the silver finish though (how shiny is it?)? I've got a black 8 and I really don't want it lookin like the Joker's gleaming, pearly whites everytime I drive it if you know what I mean Thanks bro.

 

I can attest it looks pretty darn good and covers over with a nice gloss black paint if you change your mind real nice

 

the finish is nice.....not too shiny or dull....just right IMO....doesnt take away from the car....and yes, it doesnt look like the car is grinning from ear to ear...
I was ecstatic that I figured out a way to install it without taking the front-bumper off....cuz thats way too much for me to handle....

Rotor - I highly recommend it for the black...it will look gr8t IMO...

 

can you make a grille for the mazdaspeed kit???????

 

I just got mine a couple of days ago: the black diamond. It looks okay I guess, need to find some spare time to install it on my 8. Will post pics when I've done that.

I had silver, which I painted with black because of installing the laser jammers in the grille. I do think the silver was nicer but it could be because I had to put my plate back on so an officer wouldn't think he wasn't getting a reading because I didn't have a plate and issue me a ticket for that.

 

I should also mention that the super high flow style is very nice.

Not quite as nice
as some of the chicken wire I've seen on Civics though

Can someone post a front view pic 6ft or more away during a sunny day, preferably on a blk 8. That is those who have the grill installed already. Appreciate it in advance!

 

Here ya go. I haven't exactly installed it yet, just put it up and secured it with a couple of pipe cleaners to see what it'd look like on my 8. Not too shabby I guess, the look is growing on me. Was a bit dissapointed that it'll only be held in place by those thin plastic thingamabobs you use to keep wires tidy, lots of them!!! It's the diamond grille piece by the way. Hope this helps.
