Wow, I was on vacation with my family last week at Disney World and I come back to this?
Sorry for the delay...:o
Buy the way if any of you are unhappy send me a PM... If you want your money back I will be more than happy to send you a refund, I have more than U$750.00 of my own money into this project and when all is said and done this is a loss for me...
Now for those who are interested the hard work has paid off and here is a pick of the first prototype part and it is beautiful, the following pictures do not do it justice... I just got it today and did a test fit and took some pictures, it is perfect so I just sent an e-mail to the fabricator and told him to do the first production run... This one has not been finished, the production pieces will have the edges sanded and painted than polished... I will be designing the attachment system over the next few days and buying the supplies and shipping materials so that I can send them out ASAP...
It will be worth the wait, and guys/gals have a little faith...

Thanks, Adrian-1...
A couple more points, on the second picture the cover is not sitting completely flush as it needs to be attached via some double sided 3M adhesive film (In the photo it is just resting on the dash...); when the final part is fitted it will fit into the grove around the POD, sit flush and look OEM...
In addition you may notice that the final mold has less of a wrap than the pre-production mold, this is so that we could get the very high quality straight weave you see in the pictures and have the front wrap around the dash pod look really good. There are alot of manufacturing considerations to account for and you have to design a part you can get out of the mold without damaging the part or the mold...
Once again sorry for the delay (Been very busy with my life and job...), but this is a part you will be looking at constantly and up-close so we needed to get it right and have it look OEM/show quality...:D

WOW! that looks like a real quality product, glad you got everything straightened out.......reading through this whole thread I felt bad for these guys as Ive seen the same thing happen 2 times on 2 different websites where people prepaid for a part and the person would just string them along for months then disappear and theyd be out thousands of $'s.........so I apologize on my part for the doubts :o
just want to say that it looks great and these guys will probably be very happy with it......good luck!

Yes thank you for the updated pics and info. We are patient but like others have mentioned I've seen plenty of internet fraud before and this is the first time I was buying from you. I don't doubt you anymore since you have shown these great pics! And next time tell us that your leaving for a while on vacation, also let us know when you are going to work, and taking a S*** too, thanks. :D

Once I finish up with this project I may do the hood, not sure will have to see; this stuff takes lots of time and I am very busy these days...
Also an update, the first production part was produced today and has been sanded and detailed... I will have it on Friday, will mount it with the 3M double tape, take pictures of the install for some instructions on installing it and will post some nice pictures out in the sun...
Friday they will begin producing the first production batch of twelve, as soon as they arrive I will prep them, install the 3M backing, pack with instructions and prep for shipping (I still have to go out and get all the shipping supplies)... Once that is complete they will all go out in the mail...

Hey Carlos,
Not to get off the subject but I was thinking about moving to FL and wanted to know what you do for a living down there. Is there oppurtunity for someone age 25 coming from NY or is the cost of living and the amount you get paid not that different from up here?
Thanks,
Brian

dev,
I work for a company with offices in both NYC and Miami and judging from speaking to several people the cost of living is higher in NYC. I would say the opportunity is here. What field are you in?

Well, I've been in so many different fields... Title Insurance, eccommerce work, stripping, I'm a barber, bartender, I've managed bars/rest. um there a bunch of other things I've done but those are the main things that I'm good at.

Thanks for the update
I was thinking of getting these one day for gauges, and was wondering if they would match?
They said: "I can see the cover you have is made of twill CF our gauge pods are made of plain weave CF. Still it is going to look pretty good. I don't think the difference will be too noticable. Rob"
What do you think Carlos?

Ok, guys/gals an update and a few questions answered...
Yes, I have everyones address; before I ship I will send you a confirmation e-mail/PM and you can let me know if the address I have is correct or if you want to change it...
Now an update, I recieved the first production part and will post some pictures; they are up to 5 parts completed and will also run one for me in black/red cf-kevlar to get a feel for how they look in color (Will post pics of that as soon as I get it)... The final parts are coming out beautifully and will be well worth the wait and believe me I am looking foward to all of you recieving your parts and getting them installed...
This weekend I will engineer the attachment system and develop some installation instructions as well as aquire all of the shipping materials...
