So any chance you can make it in Silver CF? or Red CF? :D

I originally was going to offer it in colored CF but those are CF/Kevlar blends... It is a possibility, I will look into it again...

I think for this appliation black would look the best...

 

I don't know... I have the black and Red interior. The Black/Red CF/K might look good.

...then again, I have the silver CF/K MS-type wing and it might look nice to keep all the fiber the same color :D

I have the blk/red interior color scheme also. I installed black carbon fiber door sills from Evo-R and they look really good against the blk/red. I'll post a pic later when I get home, so you can see. I'm going to get the pod cover, and the entire mazdaspeed kit for the interior to match.

 

Carlos said that the MS dash kit was fake CF - is that going to be OK for you? I was also looking at this for my car also.

 

I'd recommend not to get the MS CF kit. Too much money for fake CF, plus it wouldn't match very well.

 

Nemesis8: Yes, the MS is CF look (If you have seen the interior of the MPV, it looks just like the dash...) Real black CF is very consistant so just about any CF product from a good fabricator will match very nicely...

For my car I just wanted to have a splash of CF in the interior to go with the Mazdaspeed CF B-Pillar garnishes...

By the way the CF PODs are coming along very nicely and we were able to make the CF go right up against the guages when it wraps around the front edge of the POD with a one piece mold...

 

Oh and the MS kit just replaces the center console, switch plates and the door handle plates... After I get done with mirror covers, I may have the door handle plates fabricated as well, that would probably be in January...

 

I'm going to wait and see what you can create. I would be willing to wait for your CF because it will match the Dash Pod cover you are currently pursuing. Thanks for the advice and comments. Now we just need to get more people on board with us. :D

Hey thanks, I really would have bought it without knowing that. I did know that the other mazdas have the fake stuff but just didn't put 2+2 together. Now I need to find someone to make the door bezels, middle console trim, and the window switch panels. Damn that sucks!

 

Ok, the PODs will be here the 1st week of December; I allready paid for the molds and tooling upfront...

I will be sending payment for the PODs on the 22nd so everyone can get them on time. If you have not done so allready please send in your payments by next week...

This is really going to be a nice mod for the interior - it's about time we added some CF to the drive from the passenger point of view. :p

 

Ok, just got back from my vacation and spoke with the fabricator; should have the first one next week...

Once I give the approval, should have the first 10 production ones by Dec 10th, I will then ship them out the next day...

All payments need to be in by the 30th...
