As Mazurfer stated, the US model does not come with the wiring. I checked with ASH from Australia (he has Mazda info for anything) before I purchased these and he confirmed that you would have to purchase the whole side mirror assembly etc... very expensive.

Japan, Australia, EU and UK get them stock.

Wait a minute, think you might have gone too far. True they aren't there on US cars, but everything you need is there with the exception of the actual lights and some wire. All they really do is tap into the lower door courtesy lights. You do not have to purchase the whole side mirror assembly! If you look under your side mirrors, you should see where they would go. Take a look at the instructions I posted a few posts below this.

I don't exactly need this, either. Since I track my car, I feel I need the 2nd oil cooler. Regardless, I was simply poking the bear; nothing serious meant to come out of it.

I'm sorry I said I should be able to ship the puddle lights out last week but I wasn't able to. My original manufacture for the light housings in Taiwan has some delays and told me it'd be a month out before I could get them. So, I found a distributor over here in the States and placed an order about a week and a half ago. The light housings didn't ship out until this past Friday, July 23rd and shows in the tracking it'll arrive on Thursday, July 29th. I'll be out of town from Thursday through Sunday for a wedding so Monday is when your packages will be shipped out.

Been on very low supply of parts for this kit as I've been waiting for my shipment of parts to arrive from out of the states. My temporary supply from manufactures in the states will be arriving beginning of this week so they will be shipped out by the end of the week.

Will, that said, I received the lights I ordered a week or so ago and have installed them--they look great! I'd attach a picture, but the weather is such that my camera fogged up from the humidity for now. Maybe later ;-) Thanks for the heads up on the supplier issues though. Wish you luck, I'm very happy with your lights!

Have had these on the car since last Feb and love em. Only issue is they don't match the LEDs I have in the interior, the BWPL blue has a purpleish tint to it. Going to see if I can filter it out.

 

Hi sorry for the delay in response. Yes, this is ongoing. I just received all the light housings from Taiwan so we're all good to go.

For the blue-purplish tint, they were the older model v-leds had awhile back when ordering with them. They've since changed to a single LED type which is what I'm starting to ship them out with now.
