We are 100% still a go!! If you do want to grab a set, be sure to let me know.

Thanks to everyone in this thread answering questions & helping out as well!

OP Updated!

These should be landing within the next week or so! Current ETA to Powertrix would be July 3rd but due to holiday, this date is tentative and subject to chance.

Remember, this will be the LAST group buy at this price!!

goose guy 06-26-2012 02:29 PM

Ok, I'm in. Deposit paid for a 9k/6k set. PM sent.

mavictb 06-26-2012 04:40 PM

surprised that this GB is so barren. This coilovers are sick and this GB makes them a even better deal.

nuke0907 06-27-2012 06:26 AM

Ordered mine. Also ordered new tires to start getting my car back up and running.

larkin 06-27-2012 04:27 PM

I'm pretty close to putting my deposit down. My only hesitation is I know nothing about setting these up.

Will some suggested settings be given for various conditions (aggressive street vs. autox) and can they be adjusted without removing the wheels?

Lastly, and this is not meant to be a "gotcha" but might explain the lower participation: Powertrix has the SS coilovers listed on their site for $1,025 + $50 ship, not $1,265. So, still $100 savings but not $300 savings. http://www.powertrix.com/z32coils.htm

Matrx8 06-27-2012 05:23 PM

Probably because most people interested got theirs last time.

Bobbydigital211 06-27-2012 09:46 PM

I was gonna be all over these when this GB went up but my DUI is sucking up all my funds. Poor choices screw good things up. Will have to wait till its paid off and funds are available. :/

Regarding the settings, damping can be adjusted at the twist of a knob without removing any sort of hardware. Height adjustments, however, do require removing the wheels and getting a realignment after. The height adjustment is intended to allow each individual to find their own 'sweet spot' given their driving style and use. As far as 'recommended' settings go, this is a bit difficult to generalize due to numerous factors. Tire compound, tire size, other suspension components, alignment settings, road conditions, etc. can all play a factor in how a car handles/responds. Because of this, some slightly differing damping settings may be ideal for any given scenario. It will not be difficult to adjust yourself though - for example, if you notice a bit of understeer - soften up the front a tad and increase the rear a bit. Changes as such *can* be noticed oneself and adjusted, though there may be a differing learning curve from one individual to another.

Regarding pricing, WOW! I am actually a bit embarrassed here as the initial post was somewhat of a typo on my end. In changing the coilover names around a bit, I mislabeled this thread as containing the SS coilovers. Currently, the only coilovers offered to the SE3P platform are the R/T Road & Track coilovers! The UL Ultra-Lite coilover system may be a future option as well but these are more for the serious track drivers out there.

If I am honest, it may be due to the fact I have not pushed this GB thread as much as I did the previous to. As of right now, the only real way anyone has seen the thread is via the GB section which only gets a limited number of coverage. Thread views of the old threads and this thread somewhat confirm this idea but that said - I have gotten a bunch of PM's lately!

Updated OP - with the final days coming in, looks like these will begin selling very quick. Remember, this will be the last opportunity to get these coilovers at this price!

tiltmode43 06-28-2012 01:15 PM

Updated the OP list again, thanks for the PM's everyone!

RageBrah 06-28-2012 11:50 PM

Hey I'm in New Zealand so could you give me a shipped price if possible?

Thanks

If you can, please PM me your full ship address. Quite a few sets of Z32 Powertrix coilovers have made it to NZ & Aus, about time an SE3P set heads that way :icon_tup:

I want right meow!!

Matrx8 07-06-2012 02:41 AM

Excuse me sir, are you saying "meow"?

Renesis 8 07-16-2012 03:52 PM

So when are these getting shipped out?

tiltmode43 07-17-2012 02:31 AM

Per Powertrix email, shipping should have begun today. I believe the RX8 coilovers require an inspection prior to shipping, so may be 1-2 days later than the standard Z coilovers.

Coilovers are HERE. Shipping will commence on Monday the 16th for all those that are Paid in Full and we will email you with your individual tracking numbers.
Balances are now due on orders with deposits. Please use the payment links below or inform us if you would like us to use your Credit Card on file to pay for the balance. Also we have added the Balance payment link for SE3P Coilovers:
