Bump for a great guy and a great product! I'd do it if I wasn't going airbag.

Hello,Tiltmode43.
One question, when you ship to Canada, what courier do you use? USPS? Please let me know, because other couriers charges big portion for duties.
Thank you

tiltmode43 06-11-2012 03:25 AM

FedEx is used to ship internationally. Shipping via FedEx should include the brokerage fee itself, though I do not believe it covers duties/taxes.

Man I wish I could get these, but I just went over some speed bumps on another part of base and my car scraped once. My car is 5 1/4 inches high at it's lowest point! Whoever invented these demonic lumps in the road deserves to die slow and painful.

mavictb 06-11-2012 02:37 PM

damn a 5" speedbump? thats crappy! my largest speedbump is less than 3". I can still go lower (which I am after I get wheels in a couple months).

Also these coilovers are sick!!! I have been running them since the last group buy and they handle great and are not overly bouncy on the crappy roads. and having damper adjustment and height independence of stroke it super nice.

nuke0907 06-12-2012 05:14 PM

when is the last day for this group buy?

With the stiffer coil over springs I doubt you will rub. I am way lower than you and I hardly scrape on speed bumps. You just have to go slow.

just got done giving my coils a good work out on the tail of the dragon! loving them

Matrx8 06-13-2012 01:31 AM

What is the difference between the 9/6 and 10/7? Which would you recommend for my car?

mavictb 06-13-2012 02:21 AM

10/6 for a non tracked / non aggressive fitment car

10/7 is just a little stiffer, it's personal preference.

I got mine with 10/7 and liked it but went to 11/8 since I'm more focused on how the car does on track. Streetability and comfort are pretty low on my list of priorities haha. If you're ever in the Phoenix area you can shoot me a PM and you can see what they're like first hand.

I would say go with the 9/6 for just street though, and then if you feel the need to go to 10/7 I have an extra set of springs in those rates in my garage I can let go for cheap but I doubt you'll need them.

lude1888 06-13-2012 08:50 AM

How do you adjust ride height in the rear? Do you just spin the bottom half and loosen that single middle collar?

9krpmrx8 06-13-2012 09:04 AM

Yep. loosen the lowest collar, and spin the bottom piece.

david_d_durant 06-13-2012 10:11 PM

Install is pretty easy to do in a driveway with a basic mechanics tool set.
