The Corral is open for all 3 days, I think most of the owners will be leaving on Sunday morning, as there is no Mazda's racing on Sunday. A few will be checking out the a few of the races.

 

Escort is now on board with Grand-Am, as a result of this new partnership, we will be raffling off a new 9500ix radar detector (valued at $500) at the Mid-Ohio Corral.

Also, we will have 3 detailing buckets of Cleaning supplies from Corsa, these are valued @ $134.00. Looks like the prize list is still growing!!!

 

Cool. I've been wanting the 9500ix since it was released. Wouldn't mind the cleaning supplies, either.

 

I checked the extended weather forecast. It calls for isolated thunderstorms for Saturday & Sunday.

Just a note to say thanks for a great weekend! Even the weather you arranged was perfect.

Thanks to all that came out and supported the event! Mazdaspeed Motorsports, Mazda USA, Mid-Ohio and all of the Mazda teams appreciated all of the support and were happy to see that we once again had the largest corral at the event.

Great job on the parade laps, we are already working on next years event, it will be bigger and better! I hope you all enjoyed the show!!!

 

Yes, thanks! That was a lot of fun, but the parade laps were a serious tease!

 

Join us for a NASA Mazda event @ Mid-Ohio on July 23-24th. We'll have an hour worth of parade laps during lunch time on that Saturday and a cookout after all of the racing. free admission and camping too!

 

Now that's a tease! Do yo have any details Marlon? I probably won't be able to run the NASA event, as I think I'm still looking at surgery, but the parade laps might work.

 

Just realized that I didn't post a link to my Google Picasa album for Mid-Ohio. Lot's of photos--probably more than what anyone wants to see. I took a ton because I figured lots will turn out bad and blurry, and I was trying to catch the RX-8s shooting flames. When I reviewed them, I deleted some, but couldn't bring myself to delete as many as I had originally planned. Most turned out OK.
