Just giving credit where credit is due. Mike came thru on taking responsibility for a deal that went awry due to complications from packaging/shipping. He stayed in communication and responded with reconciliatory actions. Take-aways from cross-border deal between US & Canada:
1. Stay away from UPS due to inflated brokerage fees and unsatisfactory customer services
2. Always use proper wheel box to ensure safe passage during transit
If you have to use UPS, caveat emptor:

Yup, Looks like Bart! is an *** for not being "honest". I still dont get the guy in why he didn't want to resolve the issue.
I ALWAYS use USPS and I have no problem with them whatsoever! They are not as fast as UPS but, packages DON'T get damaged when you recieve them!
I sent out 4 rims out to Steve, each rim was protected but two cardboard pieces and tape. When I sent out the rims UPS assured me that the packaging is good enough, and they will handle it with care, since they know what it is. This is where I made a mistake and I trusted them! Not to mention the shipping ended up being close to $200!! I was very sure that nothing would happen to the rims.
Steve sent me an email, saying the rims were "damaged". he also included pics. After 2 weeks in trying to get some money from UPS, they declined. So to make a long story short. I took a hit and refunded some money to Steve, Steve has scratched up rims, and UPS took $200 for a bad job in deliverying a package.
Pics of the rims before being shipped with UPS
