Thumbs down NEGATIVE: RX7 STORE (Jason)

I ordered an RB catback from them on 12-10-2007. On 12-19-2007 it had still not shown up and I had heard nothing, so she emailed Jason and he said "I got it in but the box is damaged and it will take me a few days to find another one. I will email you when I ship it out." So I go away for Christmas and come back on 12-26-2007 and STILL no package from them. So on 12-27-2007 I called and left messages only to recieve no contact from Jason. So that evening I sent yet another email asking for an update and heard nothing. I came here where he is a vendor, and sent him a PM and to this day still nothing. Long story short, 23 days later and no RB catback, or even an email.

This is posted on their website. So much for the Holiday theory.

Holiday Hours:
We will be closed on Dec 24th - 25th and Dec 30th - Jan 1st for the Holidays.
We will be closing at 2pm on Dec 26th thru Dec 28th.
We will be processing and shipping orders on those days.

To clear this up sort of, I have responed to the emails your girl friend has sent me. The most recent one was that we got the exhaust in but the box was trashed when shipped to us and we had to get a new box. The box is very large and hard to find. We did get one and shipped your exhaust. I sent you tracking today. I appologize for any delays as the holidays put us way behind on emails.

That's a whole different situation. You're buying parts that are not currently in the country, or even the same hemisphere. You should expect a wait. But you shouldn't expect a wait when buying a part made in the USA and is supposedly "in stock"

Great response from a vendor wanting to continue doing business w/ the club. It explained the problem, and how he solved it. The apology was professional and unlike many others on the web, he didn't stoop to name-calling and he said/she said crap. It is always a good thing to read these things when they have a good ending.... good luck w/ the exhaust kennyfrc1!
