Unhappy MazdaManiac

I'm decided to tell i'm really bored with vendors that are not able to deliver into the required time.

I've ordered a GT3071 upgrade kit more a Walbro pump and injectors, to Jeff at the end of July. I knew perfectly that i had to expect 3 monthes. But after more than 4 monthes i still have no news, however i sent many mails.

I trusted in him and sent immediately 2295$, and i'm still expecting in my christmas gift.

I hope it's just a little retard and i finally i would have news in this thread.

^ Sounds like he really needs to change his business model....
if it takes so long, he should always be in constant contact with people who paid (lots of money) on where the process is with their product. 3 months is a very long time to wait with little or no communication.

MM has not been delivering these turbos in a timely fashion but when it comes to the AP's, you get them very quickly and the Calibrations are coming faster then ever these days.
why don't you do a little reading first before you end up buying an AP from another vendor which just becomes an over sized paper weight when you can't find someone to tune your car

Jedi speaks the truth. My AP is nothing more than a paper weight. The only problem is I bought it from MM. I changed my intake to the Mazdaspeed now all tunes are useless and it's currently uninstalled sitting in my kitchen junk drawer. Thankfully I found a tunner.

Side note - the reason it's completly uninstalled and not running base map is since it's cold outside with my current cooling mods I can't get my water temp above 170 and oil temp will not go over 160. That's just not warm enough IMHO. Also it has yet to drop below 30 and i'm already having heating issuse what the hell is going to happen in single digit weather.

If you have got a problem about MazdaManiac selling and tuning the accessPORTS there are some threads where you could post without looking like somebody with a torch in hand going for a witch hunt.
Here i read the complaint of a fellow european member trying to receive informations about his paid turbo upgrade with a vendor that is well known for being problematic to deal with at times.
Will your **** stirring help? no.
Keeping this discussion as polite and as clean as possible without going off topic and veering to the usual "commonplaces" regarding Jeff maybe will.

Eric, i hope to see this solved soon.

AccessPORTs ship within 11 business days from payment and the base calibration is available online for you to download immediately after you receive it.
I don't think there is a faster way to do it.

I have not gotten a response from you on any of my e-mails. Do you have a different address that works?

April of 2008. That's when you purchased your AccessPORT.
Exactly when did you expect me to stop supporting your service for free?

Anyone who knows Jeff "pretty well" would not say such a thing.

I've just sent you an e-mail in order to verify my order.

So, do you have finished my kit?

Did you have any news of your kit during this year of patience?

In my case, i'm about to ask the repayment if my kit doesn't arrive in few weeks!!!

It's unacceptable to wait such a long time, don't you think?

anoying yes, last update i got was april, i know mm has issues with gmail but besides a smartass comment of "sorry u feel ignored" with no status update nothing uptodate, besides hearing a he is working on it.

my main concern is i bought a cobb from him and just hope he supports my tuning long enough to get my turbo tuned before he expires the tunning sessions

ive also been spending this time getting small parts so i wasnt ready for the full bolt on till just recently

I dont know about other parts, but my experience with MM and the Cobb was excellent. Got the AP in about 2 weeks, he did my tune, updated me when he could (I dont think most people realize the scope of what he is providing) and the car runs better than ever. My free tuning period has passed, and I will be doing some more mods soon. I will be more than happy to pay MM for an aditional tune. Just my 3 cents worth.

well the primary issue the op posted was that mm was past the original completion date. its all good about the ap, i myself got my ap within a week or two of ordering.

hell mine is way the hell past the original date but i rather the time be taken for proper fitment then rushed. this is just another thread saying mm's fab time is a tad optimistic

guess ill email with my office email and see if i get a reply myself

Just a little ask to know if all the people that have ordered the greddy upgrade kit have received it.

Excepted in this forum Jeff seems not to communicate.
Is it usual that this guy does not reply to mail. It is highly suspicious don't you think?
So i ask him if he want to explain me publicly where my kit is.

Get his phone number.

Much easier to deal with. Closer to a one one relationship.

PM here and ask.
