I'm kinda frustrated with Assaultech!
so yeah it was a holiday weekend and it is just a few days late...
BUT...
why would a vendor promise something when they know it won't make it by that time, or at least that it is unlikely?
so you guys can give the op all the **** in the world, and this isn't really a big deal, but i'd be frustrated too if they give you a date and don't stick to it. it seems like that's how a lot of vendors get your business...entice you with free or fast shipping, when really they should say "ok well it's a holiday weekend coming up, we'll be closed monday, so you're looking at tuesday order and wednesday ship so it'll be next next monday." is that so hard?? why promise friday when it's not possible?
when i make non-car orders, i expect a tracking number, and i expect them to ship by their estimate. when they don't, i contact them. maybe the op is a bit impatient here, but he doesn't need to be griped at for going by what the vendor said. and it's not 'instant gratification'...the vendor gave a deadline and didn't hit it. the buyer is just going by what he was told by the vendor.
