I ordered some stainless steel strakes and crest from Howards website on Aug 13. And when i had first emailed him asking him how long it usually takes to ship out to Texas, he replied w/ 7-10 days. Well its been over 10 days and he hasnt replied to my last email about any update on my shipment. So I was just wondering if anyone has ever had problems w/ Howard. Kinda worried I paid around 200 bucks for both the crest and strakes on my credit card and this dude lives in another country

 

I ordered from him, and got it within 2 weeks. No problems. I'm even farther (in Cali.). Love them. They look great.

You guys seem to have gotten them earlier then mine and ya'll are located farther lol .....maybe hes on backorder. Did you guys order them from ebay or his website?

I ordered them from ebay and got them in around 10days or so...
they are beautiful.....craftsmanship is superb.

 

I purchased a set from him. Yes it can take a little longer to receive them but it is well worth it.

When you get the package you will be surprised at how heavy they are though.

My first thought when I unwrapped them was they reminded me of bars of Gold.

I have had them on for about five months with no issues.

Take your time puting them on. Not sure if he has started marking LL (left lower); LU (left upper); RL (right lower); or RU (right upper) yet. It took me at least a half hour to make sure I was installing the correct ones on each side.

Very nice though, if I purchased another RX-8 I would buy from him again.

 

Haha Yea I know theyre so heavy. Mine has a scratch on one fender but its all good you cant really tell since they shine so much.

 

No problems with Howard.

 

Ordered mine 7 days ago and havent heard nothing from him. I guess I'll just wait it out though. You all same to have good things to say about him.

 

Hang in there. He never responded to 2 emails I sent to him but I got them in about 10 days. They are worth the wait.

Awesome product with nice craftsmanship. Got mine in 8 days to California.

 

He took about 20 days to get mine to me. I sent numerous emails to which he replied to one. Eventually, they did arrive. Just have patience.

 

I got mine today, took about 10-14 days, had to clear customs. they look great. have exchanged emails with him. mine are marked LL UL UR LR. Can't wait to get er done. I'll buy the front accent when he gets more in stock.

FYI: I ordered yesterday and sent and email regarding my order yesterday (since it now states sold out on the website, I wasn't sure if they were sold out when I ordered or not). Anyway, had a reply this morning stating that I got the next to last set before he temporarily sold out and that they were in the mail now.

So far so good!

 

Got em today no problems. Flawless buy and fast shipping considering overseas and went through customs.
