Talking Great Guy: Richard Paul

I sent my AFE short throw shifter for adjustment and Richard got it back to me within the week! He threw on a new and improved bushing which is better than ever! It is a lot tighter fit and my STS feels great! Just wanted to tell everyone what a great product this is and Richard stands by his products 100% with a lifetime warranty and has great customer service.

It Arrived!!

I missed the freebie offer Richard P. had, so I ordered one of the new run of shifters. Richard had a software/shipping glitch he took care of with 2nd Day Air. Our Postal Dudette was running late, so I didn't see the mail Friday, but it was there when I checked the mail yesterday. It took about 2 hours to install...1 hour looking for the "flimsy clip" Mazda may have changed this part, because I ended up saying WTF and lifting the cover off...nothing broke. I did that three more times,,,no change, no rattles, buzzes or clunks. There was NO ripple in the force! It went smoothly, sort of, from then on. Damned wire clamps on those nuts were a beeyatch! Impression! Great! Yes, like a nice rifle bolt or mechanical Nikon camera. It has "FEEL". Also, I noticed there is just slightly more gear box whine than with the original shifter. I also noticed there was NO rattling, buzzing or vibrating like there was in the B&M Ripper in my C5. Great job Richard! Great product! Great customer service!

Thanks Richard Paul!
