Granted, I have just only bought small stuff from them (bought turbo used)
Sarah is just Epic Ownage.......... :D overnighted everything on time and everything, even "custom parts" I think Scott deserves a prop in hiring this new sales, cus she's, as I said, ownage.......and hopefully Scott can get more fabs done on time more
just wanted to let you guys know, Mazsport isn't all bad

good to hear!! like Taga said, they arent all bad, just had some unfortunate cases for whatever reason. and although in some opinions, even mine, they are bd stories, Mazsport doesnt deserve total **** for just that, they make some good stuff and afaik can be EXTREMELY helpful at times

well Paul, 1 thing for sure, they are helpful, and my experience with them is good
however, I cant say the same for the type 1 kit

Very happy with Mazsport too, ordered a Mazdaspeed exhaust, very good service from Chris, and Scott upon my original request for someone shipping to Europe. Local courier ripped me off, but that's not Mazsports fault

well when certain people look above, try to divide members against a certain company instead of promoting what they have as a better alternative, but in that case you would actually have to release a product that does so, which unfortunately you my friend have failed to do so.
you know if alot of people bought the pettit stuff thered be alot a few disgruntled customers, but when you dont do alot of volume and only have one product that your known for that tends to happen.

Nick, WTF are you talking about? Whether myself, Scott, Cam, Sam, or any other vendor on this forum, for this car, or any other platform/website, we each have our customers who have their various reasons for choosing to do business with us. Let's not forget that, despite whatever personal politics there are on this forum I (and MM, too) have the ***** to say to anybody's face the very same things we say about them on the phone or in PMs. You may want to consider that before throwing accusations around about Pettit, BHR, our customers, or anybody else for that matter.
just my friendly .02 tho

The mistake you are making is in not being specific about whom you are talking. I have supported Scott's efforts and actually backed him up in the face of recent scrutiny. I have not made excuses nor defended him against his critics. I have simply asked his critics when enough will be enough. To that extent, I agree with you, Nick, that the bitching about Mazsport by people who are not directly involved in the fiduciary transaction has gone on for far too long. I am also a competitor who is willing to allow the free-market to decide for itself what is viable and what is not. Amazingly enough, not everybody is so embracing of the competition that benefits us all.

I personally love the fact that we have so many vendors on this site. It lets me pick and choose. I know there are something I want from one company and things I want from another. Mazsport, BHR, etc. I love having you guys around and I love the fact that you're on here doing what you do. With all the problems with the car itself are there actually any reps from Mazda on here.

If you are all so closely linked then why isn't there more acceptance of aftermarket parts and warrenty. I understand some parts that can put major stress on certain parts, but what about simple upgrades. Taking something from a mild steel to a stainless steel,. I obviously see how and why their stance is what it is, but if the limk was closer they should be more accepting shouldn't they?

what people fail to realize is that Vendors sell stuff for our car, like Ray ever so often told me before
Vendors are there for us to use, especially in a very small market like this, obviously what's the best bang for the buck will subsequently be what's best for the consumer. fine, Mazsport does take a long time to ship, well then ask them whether they have it in stock first........or learn how to do stuff yourselves, overnite it if you're in a hurry like me. Mazsport makes GREAT stuff for our car no doubt, the clutch pedal bracket for example, is great! same goes to Ray's Clutch assembly, and they are on par in prices, so you have a choice, that is GOOD FOR US!! the fan control kit, it will work great with the BHR Radiator and Mazmart Waterpump, but people are too stupid to realize that.
if you are smart, you wouldn't get emo and con a vendor, they do try their best, and I think the best rx8 would be made by combining products from different vendors, the best of all their products will make the best rx8
not a full mazsport rx8, not a full MM/BHR rx8, but a combination , kinda like outsourcing
but most of you are too stupid to realize anyways
