I bought my accessport from him not too long ago, and I was waiting for an email or something... anything, but he happen to be out of town.

Trust me, I know what it feels like to pay for something and have to wait, and Yes, 3 months IS a long time to wait for something (That is already made and ready to ship). And yes, business is business and personal life is personal life... but sometimes, people have things to take care of that could affect their business if they dont.

who knows, but overall, Mazdamaniac has been selling things for a while now and as far as I know, he's a solid guy.

just wait for his email and Check the tracking status of your package.

not lost, maybe delayed, **** happens to everyone. I'm pretty sure he does this business here as a hobby and has a different 'career' to support himself. As far as I'm concerned he's doing us all favors by helping out around here and is not in it purely for the money here which is why these delays might be happening. I did a lot of reading and assumed this ahead of time so I had a good idea of what to expect and I'm satisfied so far and because of the value will buy anything he has to offer.

I could be wrong (not likely) but my point is, his 'business' here is probably not his primary means of income, but rather a hobby for him and he needs to make a minimum amount for his time and energy for contributing to this community.

 

Just a guess, but it could be locked up in Customs on one side or the other.

 

Ok did you get a tracking number for shipping from MazdaManiac?
Did you ask for insurance on this product? I'm sorry 6k for a item I'd be foolish not to opt for some form of insurance incase it got lost in the mail.

Is there a reason for this Oh I'm sure there is but MM is aparently banned for a few so he can't reply just yet. Trust me I'd like to believe he has nothing to gain from scamming 6k off of someone when he is most likely rolling in dough from AP sales atm.

it has also been mentioned if you've followed his posts in the past few months that he's had email troubles. i would assume it would be even worse if you are overseas. I am in Canada and there is another customer here also in Canada and we both had email problems with him in the past but they were both corrected. I just got an email from him last night concerning my turbo upgrade and I never bothered to email him about it, but he emailed me with an update anyways. I think that is good customer service and i'm sure there are minimum about 50 others here that think the same thing, if not more.

 

1) quit trolling
2) MM's been here too long for your trolling post to influence his reputation in anyway
3) be patient. (and insure a 6k package)

 

Just because someone is a respected member here doesn't mean that you can't place a complaint against him. If I were in the OP's situation, I'd be concerned too.

He also ships just about everything by UPS, and it's always insured. If it's lost in the mail, the money will come back.


The profit margin's on what Jeff charges is just about nothing. I upgraded my fuel injectors with 730cc for $60 through him. The 3071R turbo upgrade costs half of what ATP turbo sells 3071R upgrade kits for other vehicles.

I'm not trying to justify 2 months wait without any information, but I have no doubt there is a good explanation and this will be resolved.

Apparently a moderator didn't like something he said and banned him for 3 days. When he used an older account called "Maniac" to help on the cobb thread, they increased the ban to 7 days.

The forum rules apparently demand we need to respect moderators. Bend over and take it.

My personal believe is everyone is equal. You do not force the users to respect mods, you do it the other way around - users should hold moderators to a higher standard.
