I have called you several times and emailed you...you never responded. You say you told me they were on backorder...please show me the email that you sent informing me of this...cause I have not had one phone call returned or one email replied to. Its not that I would mind waiting on the part...as long as I was told they were on order. No replies to emails or calls is a no go with me and that is why I had paypal reverse the charges. I ordered from 4 other places that day and all four of them immediately emailed me that day with tracking or expected ship dates...so I know asking for a little communication or heads up is not too much to ask for. Good luck in the future and just a suggestion...learn to answer your phone or emails when a customer is trying to get ahold of you.

Wcs...I am not trying to be demanding over a cheap part...not trying to be demanding at all. I don't think asking for at least one call answered or one email answered is being demanding.

It took EVO-R over 6 months to reply to me after the order was placed of all my countless phone calls and emails with a simple and short "out of stock" and that was it. Never got my part.

Good plan...only next time...please ask the customer that and not ignore their phone calls and emails. Good luck in the future and I hope your business picks up.

maybe I should start a business? If people can do such a half *** job and survive I can certainly make a fortune. It seems to me that communicating the status of somebody's order or responding to their email/phone call is the easiest part of the job if you are half way organized and detail oriented. It was part of my job as a field sales engineer rep and pretty easy. You just have to care ...

Reproduce and sell some those custom lightweight parts you fabricate.

I agree TeamRX8. I have NO problem at all waiting for a part as long as the supplier lets me know they are on back order or delayed. If someone says "hey, they wont be ready until August, then I wouldn't mind waiting." However, if I write you over 5 times and call you numerous times a day with no response, then that looks bad on the supplier and it appears you are out to just take someones money. Writing the email back updating me would have taken less time than it took for him to log into this website to post like he did. To me, it looks like he didn't want to communicate with someone who he collected money from, but was really quick with responding to this post to try and "save face."

Exactly, communication is easy and essential. I reply to an *** load of emails a day and it really takes no time at all. There is no excuse at all for ignoring a customer who paid you already and is awaiting shipment and/or information on the product he/she ordered.

I've found the best way to get in touch with him is Facebook chat. Responds in seconds.

It is sad that one now has to research vendors even on a group site like this. You would think Evo-R.net would would make more money just from actually selling parts than scamming people I was suckered into the eyelids, looked good online and some posts said they looked good on their car. I never received them or responses to my emails. BBB couldn't even get a response. I am in internet sales and hate people like this (makes the rest of us look bad) and am filing an action for fraud with his web hosting firm - maybe losing the ability to commit fraud will slow him down for a while. Anyone interested in how to file complaints with their web hosting service is more than welcome to contact me.

The reason we have this forum is to air peoples problems with various vendors. Evo-R.net has been slow to supply parts and reply to messages, but I haven't known him to actually scam people or commit fraud.

I have not been able to reach him at all since my order, neither was the BBB or the FTC and I have been patient - I did not start contacting him until 2 months after my order and only started to worry when I would not get any response to any communication from me or from the BBB or the Consumer Sentinel at the FTC and the order was placed in July 2012 - I think it is pretty much clear that he is not going to respond. Since I am a web developer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, I know that with the proper paper trail of attempts through the proper agencies without resolution a transaction is considered fraudulent and this transaction meets those requirements. I have noticed that a lot of people have had eventual resolution and wanted to know if there were others who had NOT had eventual resolution. If I am the only one then he may not like my name or something, but if not, then I was willing to educate anyone else of the legal process that is in place that will cause a business to lose its website address. Of course this is only valid in the US which is why so many known scammers are still in business. Thank you for your response. Pity I didn't read the Bad Guy section here, I didn't think anyone would do anything like this to a small group of enthusiasts, too small a group to annoy so I wasn't worried about that. This site has been such a joy, this vendor is the exception to the rule of my RX-8 experience. And such a petty thing, eyelids!

Evo-R/Jay doesn't have the best feedback over at 7 club either..... I will say that a few years back he did take care of a buyer with a high $ order after I leaned on him *very* heavily.
