this kid has been pming, txting and calling me for years since he bought his pos autotragic 8. ive tried to help him with all of his newb questions over the years and have been very patient with him.

this past dec. he wanted to trade his car in on a speed3 but wanted to part out his aftermarket stuff. the problem with this is he doesnt even know enough to change his coils which is how i got involved.

i told him i would do all the work for him if he sold me his bhr kit that he got used for $100. he drove to my brothers shop and i ended up tying up a lift for almost eight hours. needless to say my bro was not happy with me.

i swapped his entire exhaust (thank god my bro had a gasket that fit the cat) his coilovers, and the ignition. during this time the atv sized battery he had in his car was being drained from thunk light, him charging phone, leaving doors open ect. the scheduled work wasnt bad but trying to de-flood an auto took 3hrs and i ended up pulling the plugs out of my car and reinstalling his bhr kit before i could get it fired.

he felt bad and said he would paypal me money for my labor and plugs after he sold all of his parts which i vouched for on this site. its been over three months since i did the work for him and over two and a half since his parts were sold. he hasnt responded to any of my txts or paid me.

im glad to see this jellyfish leave the 8 community and hope he never screws anyone on mazda 24/7 or another forum

I feel your pain man, sucks. But don't you think you guys should have asked for cash upfront when doing so much work on the car at the shop, sometimes being a nice guy bites you in the ***

 

Been there done that, I spent 8+ hours trying to repair a severly warped Quadrajet for a mates mate on his 57 chev, finally gave him a spare 3310 Holley I had sitting around, At the time, I had a busted leg and 4 busted ribs, and his payemnt - 2 cans of Coke and a meat pie.The joy's of trying to be a good bloke.

 

brother lets me use his shop when i need to in exchange for my help when he gets busy but it was a work night for me and i get up at 5:15. i left there after 11pm. i didnt think this kid would screw me over for a few bucks because ive been helping him out for years. guess ill just go visit him next time im in philly
