Thumbs down Andysautosport.com what a bunch of **xx******

OK I go to the website and see a part I want ludicrously cheap.

I send an email and say surely not. They say sure.

Next day I ring up and say surely not. They sure and "even if it is wrong we have to send you the part at the price shown". I say really. They say yep.

So I dig out the credit card.

OK you can guess the rest but they take days to say oops big mistake (despite the email and phone call) and then they cannot get anyone on the phone to say anything except you owe us more money which will make us more expensive than our competitors.

Bottom line having wasted a week waiting to fix the car with these idiots I have ordered from someone else. We will have to wait and see if refund comes through. Tossers.

To **** up is human it is how you deal with a **** up that differentiates companies.

I have to say avoid andysautosport.com if you can. They have given me 1/10 service.

I feel bad for not ordering in Vendors.

I was after a rear light unit.

I was looking a long time ago if memory serves I found one vendor selling at a reasonable price but then they wanted $60 to ship to Hawaii. I have ended up with another company with cost around $145 and shipping $25.

As a matter of fact, I do happen to have these in stock. Similar price as the original poster paid but mine come with brand new gaskets as well .

Thanks for the recommend Charles.

that site is the scourge of the internet and also demonstrates the wasteland it will eventually become. They still advertise stuff that was discontinued 8 years ago, or rather they never remove their old crap and it just litters every search engine to death

Charles you gave me GREAT service and loved the difference the new coils made (though I still get the occassional problems and does not start as well as it should - but lets not get into that here).

I tried to give you a nice Vendor recommend but that failed so we might try to sort that via PM later on.

Paul sorry but your NEW lights are way more expensive and I cannot understand the $60 shipping charge which seems excessive in this far flung part of the empire! However who knows what the part I HAVE bought will be like. Oh and I am doing lovely do-it-yourself gaskets :-)

Wooo I am impressed. Ordered on Sunday arrived this morning.

04-08 Mazda RX8 Tail Light Rear Lamp Right Passenger Side Lens [BASE, GS, GT] FE01-51-170L

All fitted and fine. Looks to be a genuine Mazda part. Not sure if it has the new or old gasket but I cut the centre section out anyway. Shd be fine for a year or two.

For the record that was $160 compared to $320 sorry would like to support but!

Charles isn't my vendor, he's like my corner parts dealer in a shady area of town.

Best prices, get it fast, always there in case of emergency; and you don't care how or where it came form.
