I believe those cars have detachable tops. I don't understand why you would do that though

I dunno, with one extra attachment it'd make a decent snowplow.

Then again, maybe it doubles as one already.

Personally, I don't understand the kits that lower the body to park. I saw a riced out Focus with 800lbs of body kit from the window of a restaurant while the kids and I were eating. It looked to have barely an inch of ground clearance all around. I couldn't imagine how he'd driven anywhere without scraping off half his kit. When the teenager got in and started it the car rose several inches so it was (barely) driveable and he took off. Odd - why so much trouble so it looks like the springs are broken out when it's parked.
they put airbags on them ive seen alot of cars its usually small trucks like the 2nd picture its something i would never do lol

Check out the seams on roof......it looks like it has gull-wing doors. That would explain how someone could actually get in that thing.

it's a fad/trend/whatever, it's been huge in the min-truckin scene for God knows how long, it's actually progressed to the point now where they're doing what is called "stock floor body drops", they're able to drop the truck body over the frame (same as channeling in the old days) and lay door without effecting the interior etc. to where it looks stock. They've also been channeling uni-body cars now for quite some time and then throwing bags on them as well. I've been involved in the scene for over 10 years now, it's gone from elaborate suspension setups lifted by a tiny 12 volt compressor and air shocks , to very simple yet effective airbag setups. They can even hop on bags now, some folks can get almost the same effect with air as the guys with the hydros are getting. Supposedly AirRide Technologies has a "sport" air suspension setup either on the market or under development where you can have the crazy stance and then raise it for spirited driving for cars like ours, if they can or are already pulling it off with minimal loss to performance, I'd probably do it in a heartbeat, would sure beat scraping up my car everywhere like I do now on my s-techs.
These guys are doing it just like the hot rodders did back in the day, except instead of going fast they're going low lol

here's a few sites where you can find ridiculously low vehicles/show coverage whatever

www.socalcustoms.com
www.sportruck.com
www.streetsourcemag.com
www.dropjawmag.com

Most people on here probably hate that stuff, but I still keep up with it as I used to own a slammed S10 with tons of work done to it
