A sedan, with another name but using Mustang parts (plus rear independent suspension) sounds good to me BUT, not a wagon. Either way, they should be based on the Mustang but not carry the name. Maybe...call it the Mare, LOL....or Colt, LOL....Horsey? LOL

They can use the under pinnings but by the gods dont slap the name Mustang on it!! I could understand if in the past they did this and hyped it as another retro come back but bleh.. then again Dodge can officaly say that Ford fears their Magnum lol.. its the only station wagon (being currently made) that I'd buy if I had to.

 

Vinyl wood sides and a roof rack should be standard.

The more wagons I see, the less I like them...but then again it does 90% of what an SUV does with better balance/handling, so....maybe wagons aint so bad after all. Not for me per say, but not the evil things I once thought of them to be...lol.

One of the best looking wagons in my opinion is the Mazda6 wagon.

You just made my day!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I can still hear the salesman saying it. . . . . . Oh jeez that was good!!!

 

I cant believe people would rather have shitty handling trucks and vans with the aerodynamic efficiency of a barn door rather than a wagon.

Especially a wagon made on the platform of a great handling car, eg the bmw 5 series touring, and the subaru legacy GT wagon. Granted the subaru is only decent handling but who would rather drive a 4 wheel house instead?

It blows me away that vans and trucks are cool but sleek hot rod wagons are not.

 

Why? Wagons are stupid and even more stupid looking. Trucks are so much cooler. And i have never once seen a "sleek hotrod" wagon....
