We laugh, but sooner or later this may happen to our future cars!

I hope some idiot with that windshield is NEVER on the road anywhere near me. ESPECIALLY doing 90 mph...

HUD on the M Bmw's is great. Never have to look down when going fast.

The HUD in military aircraft, and the BMW, is focused at infinity with transparent graphics. Therefore no refocusing of the eyes and thereby lesser distraction. That 'widget' HUD would never hack it.
Then again, if we're driving on automatic GPS control by then .....

Its good to know the speed limit will increase quite a bit but I'm not too impressed with the hands free Tetris' graphics...

And on top of all the screen distractions he's eating. I think that BMW in front of him is about to be rear-ended. And if it's the future wouldn't all those cars be classics

don't you think
by the time we get to that certain period,
we'll have auto pilots in our cars, and we'll all be flying?

I only hope for the dangerous driver warning. I would LOVE to have something highlight all the people who can't seem to keep their car from burying itself into other people's cars.

it could be good, ONLY if everytime when the car infront of you or next to you is braking or getting close to you, there will be a BIG RED SLOW DOWN or STOP sign pop up on the screen.

I can just imagine adware poping up and a lot of accidents happening...if people are still driving that is.

lol pr0n on the windshield... probably going to have to drive stick with your right hand and steer with your knees....

I can just imagine people looking into your car with disgust or interest.

Should be fine. By the time we get these windshields cheap enough, the cars will drive themselves.
