Why when someone is trying to sell a car or bike they advertise it as "Florida" vehicle like if it was a big deal, what's so good about a vehicle that's been soaking in this intense heat, UV rays, rainy weather, and crazy stop and go traffic?

 

that just means they never passed inspection

 

My guess is no snow, ice, salt and crap.

 

Maybe no snow and ice but they have bugs that will destroy the pain on the leading edges of your car.

 

so choice is bugs and bad pian or rust?

i dont know dick about much but you can repaint pain, rust not so much..

btw, arizona cars do well also for the same reasons..

Don't forget about the crappy roads that come with cold weather climates too.

 

since florida is a state where snow is pretty much non existant that means that road salt is non existant as well. for us northern guys that means a pretty much rust free body. we can work with paint and interior blemishes but when the unit body or frame is falling apart from rust, the vehicle is much harder to repair or in some cases is scrap..florida cars give us restorers a much better base to start with.
