When you buy a car from another State?

Like I've said in this place before, I plan on getting a RX8 early next year and I wonder...

I think I could get a steal if I got the car from another state. So, how would that effect taxes, tag's, fee's?

Note: I have a tag so I would have to transfer it, would the dealer I get it from do that? How about taxes? Would I bring the car back home and have to pay them?

Every state is different so I probably will have to just go check myself. Let me know if you have any insight...THANKS!

I bought from PA, live in VA. Dealer charged me VA sales tax and said they'd courier it to my home state. Ditto with plates, could have re-used my existing ones (had they beein in my name :D) but they got me new ones and mailed them to me.

In MO:
Dealers do not get involved with sales tax or registration. Both of those are between you and the State.
The sales tax goes of where your residence is, not where you by the car.
