Some stuff is done in the light of humor. Now that being said, in the case of it on a purdy looking car then it's a case of idiocy.

A brother of my friend back in the day fiberglassed together a somewhat decent but obviously fake over sized hood scoop on a beat up 90's Nissan truck which was just hilarious. Hell we talked about making an exaggerated exhaust with 10 pipes coming out each side under the doors, and this was a 4 banger. I enjoy messing around with stuff like that but I am a perfectionist so when it comes to my 8, I sure as hell am not putting on something that looks like shit on a stick.
