I think, in this case, what people call it is more important. For example, if I told you I saw a W124 yesterday, you would have no idea what I'm talking about. So, if people are calling it the SE3P in Japan, then that's what it is. On the other handm those of you who belive it's an FE should just start using it. Maybe it'll catch on.

While were on the topic of engine codes, anyone else have an LS1?
