I was thinking the lines was from the 1960s sort of like the ford GT40, and since it does not have a badge in the back maybe its a kit car. what make you think its from the 70s?

in the 70's (and late 60 like 69) alot of supercars lines where more rounded, where the 80's the lines where more profound. a ford gt would be awesome guess, but the rear stuck out more.

i would of guess pantera. but only thing is 1970 pantera didnt have circle rear lights.

NINJA EDIT:
It has to be a GT40, probably MKII though. 1966

mystery solved,
someone from my g35 forum recognized it
http://g35driver.com/forums/lounge-o...-what-car.html

WOW WHAT IN THE HELL! That guy used to be my neighbor. He moved to maryland from NC about 4-5 months ago! He lived right next door to me! Wow small world! I used to help him out on it all the time! Its a GT40 body (kit car) on a fiero frame with fiero engine! Wow small world!

I think he is right because the exhaut is real small in the back indicating its its a small displacement engine. I guess its nothing special, just a kit car hehe

Could be a GT40 or a Sterling kit car based on the VW. A picture of the doors would give it away.

The cool thing about alot of these newer kit cars is some are now being built with a salavge rx7 motor in them.
