I had 2 60's era Plymouths, a 68 Chrysler NYer and a couple of 70's era Dodge vans. They all rusted madly.
Fortunately, they make the car sheet metal out of galvanized steel these days. The bodies last longer.

Well what I'm wondering is, what condition would it be in had the "concrete tomb" not been faulty, and remained totally dry? Such a shame. I really wanted that Belvedere to be pristine. That would've been so cool.

Here's a good blog on it: http://barista.media2.org/?p=3144
