Exclamation Volkswagen Beetle- Whole car must be REPLACED!!!

So the NHTSA has discovered during testing that certain VW Beetles made between Sept 1 and Sept 22nd 2010 dont meet the newest regulations that came into effect on Sept 1.

In order to fix this they have determined that VW should REPLACE the cars with Beetles made BEFORE Sept 2010. Those cars were built to meet the previous standard and do, so they are legal

Strangely this only effects 27 owners

Love the government. Replace it with an older car because the standards were lower when the car was made. Really??

Oh yes, those 27 owners will love getting an older model car for the price they paid for a new one.

Consumer raping commence.

They will have to be compencated for the change in vehicles. The problem is. Where are they going to find these newer cars? They aren't coming off lease yet.

Easy fix!

Ship then to a super secret factory near the docks with all the documents, rework them some (you know all the special individual touches like new vin numbers for instance), and send clean (brand new) VW's back to delighted owners that they now have (new ) car again.
