Another beautiful day on the west coast - reached 16C on the dashboard gauge.

My daughter co-piloted a cruise down to the Revscene meet today at Spanish Banks - the beach by UBC. On the way we stopped at a pre-meet gathering to join up with about 75 cars to get a police escort from Langara College down to the beach.

Lots of interesting cars to look at - there were quite a few nice Celica's, G35's, some really nicely modded Civics and a ton of people to talk to.

It was very nice to meet Inconsequential there - but we were the only two there by the time I had to go. Next year we should arrange for a few of us to go down together and put the Rx-8's on display like the Celica's and the G-35's did.

Met lots of nice people at a well organized event - a very nice way to spend a sunny Sunday.

Had to throw in the view of Vancouver from the meet. The UBC spring triathlon was also held this weekend which is the event I participated in about 10 years ago and made the decision to "go west". The weather that weekend was also like summer, driving home through a raging blizzard over the mountains sealed the deal.

here's a few more... i'm surprised there's only 2 rx-8s and 1 or 2 FCs there... the red WRX was the only one that got the hell modded outta it.... and i know that guy too... .man i wish he could just give me a ride in it.... and i'm surprised there's a actual GTR32 there....
