Using the Sunlight Silver paint... on a Jeep

Bare with me... this is semi-RX related. I need input on the paint that Mazda uses on the Titanium Silver 8s. I bought a Jeep CJ-7 this week. The build theme will be Silver and black (with stainless hardware, etc.). I want the brightest silver within reason - if Toyota Four Runner silver is $x per gallon and Mazda's is $2x... I'll go with Toyota.

The Jeep will by no means be a show Jeep - it will see a lot of trail use, So I'm not going to dump a bunch of cash into the paint and body.

Anyone with car painting expertise who could provide some insight... I'd certainely appreciate it.

Hey, at least I know this isn't a repost.

Thanks.

Well, it's Titanium Grey, not silver, but if you want the paint number I can get it for you. Have no idea on the cost. You will have to take the paint code to an auto paint supplier to get the cost. Go here to see the color:

Okay, I'm feeling like a dumbshit - I'm thinking of the Sunlight Silver... not the Titanium Gray... sorry.

Sounds like it would look cool... but I don't know anything about re-painting. Here's the paint code for Mazda's Sunlight Silver though: 22V 68

just to let you know that silver is one of the most difficult colour to match. say if you have to respray/repaint one of the side doors, most likely you will have to do the WHOLE side of the car to get the colour right, and blend onto the front/rear guards/fenders and the bonnet.

anyway, if you have the sunlight silver colour code, go to any automotive paint supplier or any half decent body shop/panel shop to get the colour mixed in the quantity you need
