This is NOT an April Fools Day joke - but it did occur on April 1, 2011. This really happened to a friend of my cousin's as the person drove to work on Hwy 74 near Shelby, North Carolina. The person happened to be using the camera phone because the truck and trailer in the video were sort of racing, not letting either pass, and the person thought the 2 vehicles might have an accident.

This is proof that accidents - and MIRACLES! - do indeed happen. My cousin assured me that the person filming was not hurt ... at least physically.

dam.. one lucky ****....

buddy of mine was on I80 and had a truck in front of him blow out a tire and took out one of the leaf springs and truck went into the berm, and the leaf spring was injected threw his front bumper and radiator....

all i know is, guy filming had a friend upstairs riding with him that day...

wow...yeah i was totally expecting a truck to roll over or jackknife or something!! good god that was freaky, and lucky.

great job by the driver to hold on through the swerve/lane change.

was it weird to anyone else that the drive doesn't scream, say 'oh ****', or anything???

 

I watched it a few more times. The one hauling the trailer didn't even slow down, you could see how that plank spun and if the driver was a following little closer it could have been tragic

 

Gotta change my underwear...

 

Crazy how this video is on the news all around the country.

 

2 feet to the left and the person shooting the video would probably be dead.

Always leave a safe distance between you and other cars, especially trucks

 

i couldnt tell what happened the first couple of times, but the board got kicked up by the horse trailer's tire. amazing.

If that was me you would have heard some serious cursing. Its impressive no one was hurt, but wtf man. I think that lexan windshield might be sooner than I thought.

 

Wow I would have **** myself. Thats one lucky SOB. The driver would have been f-ed up if it would have came through the windshield on the driver's side.
