Hrm, think I am going to work on convincing she wants a 2 over a 3. Probably doable, since the only car she has talked fondly about was her Tercel, mainly because it was so small. This is like a better Mazda version.

I did notice that the red pic has 2 doors, the rest have 4? Is there actually an option between the two? Or is that a concept or 1-off or not available here?

 

i think they will be 2 versions. at least in jpn, they sell 2 and 4. hopefully US follows the same.

Is it just me, or do the wheels on the silver one look tiny...with that kind of fender gap. I generally don't notice fender gap or wheel size, but...that is kinda glaring.

 

i think those are 13's. the ones i seen jpn this past summer had 15's. they look really good fixed up.

ugh chrome....and spinners, I feel the urge to vomit every time i see an Escalade with that **** roll by.

I DID however laugh myself to tears when i saw (I kid you not) a Hearse with chrome spinners...I don't know who would have the audacity, but i guess a gangsta wanted ta ride in style...or....die in style...

i ve seen this in person. i think it kinda defeats the purpose of the car. turboing a fuel saving car...

 

.......so does turbo'ing a honda fit and toyota yaris.....and civics... etc.... etc... its beast though when u can pull up to a civic thats rice and smash them in a TURBO YARIS

 

I prefer the look of the ford fiesta.
2 just looks like a scaled down 3.

I don't know if it will fit all the fat pandas in the Americas

 

it was funny cuz i raced the fit from a dead dig. i pulled on the fit threw 3 untill he passed me probly half a car. it was from light to light.

Sadly, in order to have budget for the 2, I'd have to sell the 8, and that is not remotely on the table. It's a pity because I do like the 2 and would love to have one.

 

In my defence I had 3/4 tank of gas and 3 people in my car. He only had himself plus the weight of his car is less then mine and no he didn't smoke my ***. Half a car isn't smoking my ***. Lol

 

I wonder if the North American Mazda 2 will be made at Mazda's Ujina plant in Hiroshima Japan, or the brand new Mazda/Ford Auto Alliance plant in Thailand???
