Turbo+supercharged!

Don't think this a a repost since I couldn't find it, but even if it is, since this is so cool, to heck with it...

here in Greece we have many 1.4 super+turbo charged. It is the Golf 1.4 GT. Name power is 170bhp but actual power is about 187bwp measured in dyno. It is not so economical as the VW says. If you push it then you get 15-16Lt per 100Km which is far away from 7lt per 100Km that VW announces. Moreover, there have been some issues of reliability and some engines where replaced. But not so many. In addition, it is heard that it also consumes some oil.

So Things are not so ideal as presented.

That's why I am waiting on this technology.

Does not appear to be dependable at this time.

HAHA. Me too, except the power part. Had he said it's stated as having 187hp but really only has 170, then it would match the RX8 perfectly. HEHE

you know im new here and a couple of months back i asked about this and everyone flamed me for it. but it makes sense....supercharger for low end, turbo for high end. mix the two right and your good to go. so for all of you who flamed me it looks like you just cant think out side the box.
