i love the car i just hope i don't get too many tickets. the inside style is not the best out there but that is not why i have a vette. and someone else mentioned better gas mileage yes it is way better so far 25 miles per gallon. and that is driving hard too.

yes the 8 is more rare but it is only the 2nd year on the road. after a while you will see many more. not as many as a vette but i see alot more now than last year.

The only reason why I didn't get a used C5 Vette when I got my 8 was because I needed the space and insurance for me would have been $$$$$ (male under 25). Even tho I think that the interior is garbage in the C5--I would have lived with it if it was more practical.

I've never even considered a vette as an option for me because of the high insurance. I really feel for every vette owner on the road in Jersey--their insurance payments probably exceed their car payments!

Good call on the Vette. New or used, you've just climbed about 3-5 notches on the automotive pecking order. That's an amazing machine. Now go visit www.LS1.com and start modding that beee-otch!

One good thing about the vette is that I have never seen it get turned into a rice rocket. Please don't prove me wrong by posting some retarded looking vette... I don't like throwing up.

My knowledge of American cars is just fine, as you know. One time you were talking about the Mustang Cobra. I got it mixed up with Mustang Mach 1 and then realized it. Big deal. It's a terrible car as far as engineering and build quality. Anyone who's actually seen them and driven them knows it. The chassis and handling dynamics, even if tightened up, are out of the stone age. Obviously, that's what happens when the starting point is full of compromises, as anyone knows. Thanks, Ike.

I guess you couldn't help but realize it once everyone was laughing at you because you thought the Cobra offerred an automatic transmission. Obviously you don't know anything about the car. It must be frustrating knowing so little but for some reason wanting folks on the forum to think you are so smart. Bad combination of traits, to be sure, but you have to play the cards you are dealt....queen high in your case. Want to raise?

Not to mention he didn't even get the correct generation of Mustang...

Never ceases to amaze me how the existing RX-8 owners react when one of their own leaves the herd.

Not true, I could care less about someone elses personal preferences. It's unfortunate for them that they wasted so much money. Trading in a 1 year old car is not the brightest idea. Goes to show that people don't test drive cars before buying.

How should we act to people like scoutwalker?

ewwwww awwwwww I never seen a vette b4

goodluck scoutwalker, I will miss you sooooo much

I wasn't aware that only current RX-8 owners were welcome on the forum. Thanks for pointing that out. Are you in charge of the forum membership committee now? Congratulations.

This really is a joke. The guy wanted a different car. So what. It's his money and his life. He picked up a nice ride.
