Top Gear UK Goes to Jerusalem for Christmas Special in a Miata

Well the rumors are out after Top Gear UK crew was seen filming - Georgia to Israel..

Started in Georgia, where they bought 3 roadsters James May is driving a BMW Z3, Clarkson is in a Mazda MX-5 and Hammond in a Fiat Barchetta...

TG Special runs 21 December in UK...with another one on the 26th Dec.

Saw these guys on there live tour a couple weeks back it was excellent they unveiled the new stig took the **** out the old stig and just pratted around like normal I cant wait for the crimbo special.

Was a GREAT "Adventure"...Spectacular, Funny and it had a reliable Mazda MX-5/Miata..with a spark plug issue..

Landed in "Hot Water", jeez, the WORLD should GET A LIFE!!!

great episode, loved teh ending. A little bit more non car stuff then normal but maybe again it was because i was watching it on my computer and not HD

HD..HD!!...I don't call this HD, here it is called SD, standard definition.

True HD is 1920x1080 like some stations here, not this 720x264 crap.

Apparently the BBC used to broadcast in a higher definition like 1920, but they cut it back??, why??

Why would they reduce pixel definitions in broadcasting??, anyone know??, it is to save money?

One would think if they have the Hardware (Camera's, projectors, transmitters, etc) originally they would USE IT?

afaik none of the tv broadcaster uses full hd, most of them use 1080i or 720p, bbc hd uses 720p i think, not really sure

correct, most use 1080p at the highest.
If you're watching it on your computer, you'll never notice the difference between 720p and 1080p. Besides, the files are MUCH larger when you go from 720 to 1080.
