My wife drives an 06TL,black with camel leather. I drive an 04 Ti GT8. When we were looking to replace her A4 I tried like hell to get her into a G35 coupe. We test drove one and she liked it. Then for some reason we wemt to the Acura dealer and she fell in love with the TL(I hate FWD) I argued for the G35,but she said no way. The interior of the TL is great and the stereo kicks butt. 2 days later we buy the TL After 4 months my wife tells me that the car feels really weird when she makes a quick turn. Hmm....Damn ,FWD ,I tell her! I reminded her that RWD cars do not react like FWDs but she didn't care. It's a woman's world out there I guess

You should wait for the '07 Subaru Legacy GT Spec. B.

It has a 6-speed MT(the same as STi's strong 6-speed tranny), VDC AWD system+Torsen rear differential, SI-Drive system, mod-friendly-and-bulletproof turbo engine which can give you 300+hp easily, and lots of goodies.

It's the best buy in its price range.

meh, its not the best buy in its range if you dont like the styling.

If anything, spork- wait for the 07 TL. Rumor on the TL forum is 07 could bring changes/ or minor refreshes. Don't hold your breath waiting, but I read on that forum that the 287 or whatever HP RL engine could find its way into a TL Type S, no clue on drivetrain. That 'talk' could be the same as our hopes for a MS8 though.

You know, I went to the Tustin auto center for my test drives. And if you can believe it, THERE WASN'T A SINGLE GERMAN CAR DEALERSHIP THERE! Heck, for some strange reason they didn't even have a Honda dealership!

So no BMW or Audi test drives for me. (And no S2K).

Dinh and eqt, I can't wait for the 07 I think since I'll need a car by August. (That's when my lease is up). That's interesting about the updates to the TL though. But with updates usually comes price increases.

I know this is my first post, but its funny im looking to get rid of my 05 6mt tl with navi for an 06 rx-8. The tl is nice, but your should check out acurazine.com the complaints there are true. My car has alot of rattles and wind noises. And 3rd gear doesn't always engage, and i'm on my 2nd power steering pump. I was just on here checking out problems with the rx-8 and found this post. Good luck with your decision.

Interesting. I've only heard good things about the car. And it was very quiet when I test drove it. Now on the other hand, the RX-8 gains a lot of rattles as it goes on and wind nose.

But my steering, transmission, etc have been dandy.

The 04+ TL does have rattle issues. My friend just got fed up with his 05 and sold it for the RL.

Why do you want to trade your 350z for an Rx8 or TL? Do you need a back seat?
