BTW, looking at those pics really makes me want a MazdaSpeed body kit... if is wasn't so much $$$!
I think someone was selling a FRP(fibre reinforced plastic) replica that is of very high quality. It comes unpainted around $700 for the whole kit. Yes Whole kit.

Hmm.. Saturday its Nascar Nextel Cup Qualifying at Noon then the Craftsman truck series after that.. then shortly after midnight Formula One..

Sunday... Oh my god.. more Nascar... then FIM World Superbike...

And inbetween those events.. more nascar shows I bet
I understand they get ratings but c'mon.. I'm watching Speed Channel not Nascar Channel. Watch the Rx-8's get pole and win the race and we miss it on national tv coverage.

I know that both Rotary Extreme and Extreme Dimensions make both FRP/Fiberglass and Urethane MS replicas. For the front I'd want the more pliable Urethane, and I'd settle for FRP side skirts and wing. (Give a rip on the rear bumper.) I've heard rumors that fitment can be an issue. If anyone has actual experience with these products/companies, I'd be curious to hear about their experiences. Looking at something that's 1/3 the cost of the "genuine" MazdaSpeed stuff, I can deal with a little imperfection, as long as painting and install doesn't end up costing more than the originals.

Great!! Thanks for the update.

I'm having trouble accessing Timing and Scoring at the Grandam Site. Is it just me or are they have problems with their site?

How many DNF's did we have?? I count at least 3 so far.

The # 95 just passed the # 68 for second place. Four minutes to go.

To bad #70 (pole sitter) went out at the start, but we did manage to take 4 of the top ten spots.

#68 took 3rd
#65 took 6th
#69 took 9th
#66 took 10th

I just got in from this race, hung by the speed source pit from about 20mins out until the end (met the parents of the #70 pit crew cheif, very nice people :D). Great stuff. Too bad for #70 car. I've got tons of photos from saturday and sunday... i'll put them online when I get some time.
