There will be quite a few changes next season, Freedom Autosports will be leaving the MX-5's for the new Speed 3, and Playboy Racing will be fielding 2 MS3's. More to come. The RX-8 has had it's day in the Koni series...be grateful to see at least 1 in the series next year.

From the article:
I took this to mean that they will have MX-5s as well as MS3s. They are doing a total swap and 'multi-car' means more than 1 MS3?
Derrick Whitis, Freedom AutoSport "With our success racing the MX-5 Miata, we look forward to applying this knowledge to the new MAZDASPEED3 in 2010. We will be campaigning a multi-car effort and welcome funded drivers to join our program."

Thats awesome, if its run by Speedsource i'm sure it'll be competitive, and when Mazda is serious in Koni ST, they have the ability push for rules to benefit their cars.

I spoke with Derrick this past weekend, they will be driving all MS3's no MX-5's for next season. I was told they will be keeping 3 cars in the stable for next season. Looking forward to seeing what drivers Speedsource has planned to pilot the new ST cars...be on the lookout for Andrew Carbonell and Tom Long from Freedom to be atop the podium once again next season!

^Yeah that would be cool if GA would step in and stop letting the the Cobalts run computer controlled rev-matching technology. It's been saving those guys over a sec in every turn compared to the rest of the field that has to use their clutch to shift.
Should still fun watching though!
