I applaud GM for offering the Solstice and Sky. They look fabulous. More so than the MX5. Few things bugged me, the lack of trunk space and total driving experience is inferior to the MX5.
With the top up, the GM baby 'verts didn;t look good while the mx5's profile is consistent.
I also prefer the ground up approach for car design which means components are not compromised from a sedan or SUV etc.
However 99% of the people do not appreciate such things. Competition is great! I look forward to the Dodge Demon too.

And that's how you address people in Japan. Like Tsuchiya-San in humble speak, and Tsuchiya-Sama in honorable speak.
